A Good Sleep is NEVER Over-rated

Most often, we wake up to texts and messages inquiring about our morning and how the night fared.
It is by no mere coincidence that a “Good Morning” solely lies on how well we slept the previous night.

Just like exercising and diet, a good restful night may be the right prescription to most ailments that follow us through the day.

The state of sleep is an altered state of consciousness where we have no or reduced interactions within our environment. Contrary to this quiet and serene physical state, the brain is very much at work carrying out the most important of all its tasks.

It is not by accident that we have been set and placed in a fast-growing working environment where one barely finds the time to even pause and catch their breath.
In as much as this pace of modern life is much needed, a good rest cannot be compromised.
As a matter of fact, “ends cannot be comprehensively met” when rest is sacrificed.

Sleep is good, but a good sleep is better.
Dr. Marishka Brown, a sleep expert agrees to this assertion when she says “There’s more to good sleep than just the hours spent in bed.

A good sleep improves brain performance, overall health outlook and even your moods and an accumulated lack of it could raise the risks of many diseases and disorders such as heart diseases, stroke, insomnia, dementia and obesity.

So, the next time you find yourself experiencing those morning migraines and mood swings, don’t go for your first aid box; go for the “sleep clock”.
